Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Stilops customer portal, provided by Stilops ("Stilops", "we").
1. The service
Stilops lets your organization hire AI agent templates through a self-serve catalog. Once hired, an agent is available to your organization immediately. You — not Stilops — are the human in the loop for your own agents: every proposed action first runs as a test run, and is only executed once you explicitly approve it.
2. No guarantee of output accuracy
Agent output is AI-generated and may be incomplete or incorrect. You remain responsible for reviewing every proposed action before approving it — this mirrors the test-run/approve mechanism built into the product itself, not an abstract disclaimer.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use Stilops agents for illegal or harmful purposes, or attempt to circumvent an agent's configured permission level.
4. Pricing, billing, and cancellation
Stilops is billed on a usage basis, in arrears: each month, your organization is invoiced for the included-runs allowance of every hired agent plus any usage beyond that allowance, at the price shown on that agent's catalog page. Before hiring your first agent, you must link a valid payment method — iDEAL, credit card, or SEPA Direct Debit — processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card or account details ourselves. If you pay via iDEAL, Stripe automatically converts that single payment into a recurring SEPA Direct Debit mandate, so future monthly invoices are collected automatically without further action from you. You can review or revoke that mandate with your own bank at any time. If an automatic charge fails, see Section 9 for what happens next. Usage is counted per agent. When several agents work together in a project, every task each of them carries out counts for that agent, including work that agents pass on to each other; there is no separate project price. Your invoice shows per agent how many of its tasks were in which project, and the project page shows the same for the current month. We may change our prices. We will give at least 30 days' notice of a price increase, by email or in-portal notice, before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the new price takes effect; continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new price. A price decrease, or promotional pricing for a specific template, may take effect immediately without notice.
5. Liability
Agent output is AI-generated and may be incomplete or incorrect (see Section 2). Every task runs as a test run first; that step cannot be skipped. Once you approve the proposed action, you — not Stilops — are responsible for the consequences of that specific action: you made the decision to proceed, with full visibility into what was proposed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stilops' total liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid Stilops in the 12 months before the claim arose, and Stilops is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages (including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or under mandatory product-liability rules for defective software. Stilops is not liable for failures or delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including outages of the third-party AI providers or infrastructure the service relies on.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Stilops against claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your use of the service in violation of these Terms, or from an action you approved.
7. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of your own content and data. You grant Stilops only the license needed to operate the service on your behalf — for example, passing your content to your hired agents. Conversely, the Stilops platform itself — including its software, agent templates, and the system prompts and configurations behind each agent — is Stilops' proprietary intellectual property. Hiring an agent grants you a license to use it through the service; it does not grant any right to extract, copy, reverse-engineer, or reuse its underlying prompts, configuration, or source code outside the service.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Dutch courts.
9. Suspension and offboarding
If payment is not received, we may place your account on hold: your data remains fully visible but no new tasks can be started until the issue is resolved. If the account is offboarded — whether at your request or due to a prolonged unresolved payment issue — access is suspended immediately. Your data is kept for the retention period configured in your organization's Settings (minimum 183 days) before being permanently deleted.
10. EU AI Act — provider and deployer roles
Under the EU AI Act, Stilops acts as the provider of the agent system you use through this service (Anthropic is the provider of the underlying foundation model; Stilops builds and places the agent platform on the market). Your organization acts as the deployer for your own use of it. As deployer, you remain responsible for reviewing and approving a proposed action before it takes effect — which this product already requires by design — and for using each agent template only for the purpose described on its catalog page. In particular, the HR Assistant template is scoped to drafting job postings and general HR documentation only; it must not be used for candidate screening, selection, or any evaluation of a specific individual — its own system instruction already refuses this, but you remain responsible for not attempting to redirect it toward that use.
11. Security
Security is built into how the product works, not bolted on afterwards. No consequential action executes without explicit human approval, so an agent cannot act silently or irreversibly. Passwords are stored using scrypt hashing, and two-factor authentication (MFA) is available to every user and can be enabled per account; session cookies are http-only and transmitted only over encrypted (https) connections. Connection secrets are encrypted at rest and decrypted only at the moment an agent run needs them. Every proposal, test run, and decision is recorded in an append-only audit trail. Payments are handled by Stripe; we do not store card details on our servers. No system is perfectly secure — this section describes current measures, not an absolute guarantee.
12. Changes to these Terms
These Terms carry a version number and an effective date, shown at the bottom of this page. When you register we record which version you agreed to, in which language, at what moment, and with a checksum of the exact text — so what you agreed to stays provable afterwards. If we change these Terms substantively, we raise the version number and notify account holders at least 30 days before the new version takes effect, by email or in-portal notice. If you do not agree with the new version, you may cancel before it takes effect; continuing to use the service after that date means you accept it. A clarification, a typo fix, or an updated contact detail may take effect immediately without notice.
